What do you know about the WhiteCoat app?

WhiteCoat is a Singapore-based supplier of digital healthcare services. It currently has operations in Singapore, Myanmar, and Indonesia, with intentions to expand throughout Southeast Asia by the end of 2021. WhiteCoat employs medical professionals on-site, which increases client satisfaction and ensures prompt attention.

Users may get telemedicine, on-demand medication delivery, and lab testing at their doorsteps through the WhiteCoat platform, all through a single app.

There are certain limitations to an online consultation, though. Everyone who has ever seen a doctor knows that they do physical examinations to check things like blood pressure and temperature, which is hard to perform through a screen.

Your aid is required here, and even though you shouldn’t have a stethoscope lying around the house, at the very least you should have a thermometer around. The doctor should be able to connect the dots and recognize more common illnesses even if you don’t have one (as we did).

The treatment of chronic disorders, however, is the most fascinating role. If you already have a diagnosis of diabetes, hypertension, or high cholesterol, WhiteCoat doctors may still advise you to take medication for these problems.

How much does WhiteCoat cost?

The consultation fee is a reasonable $25, making it a viable option for people who suffer from these common illnesses and aren’t particularly mobile. (At this moment, I’m imagining my parents and grandparents.)

If you are given a prescription, you may choose to buy the medication from WhiteCoat and the delivery of your medication may take an extra fee.

Always keep in mind that the $25 consultation fee only applies during office hours (8 am to 8 pm from Mon to Sat). A consultation after hours costs $50. (8 pm to 0 am, Monday through Saturday; 8 a. to 0 am on Sunday and PH).

How do you experience WhiteCoat treatment?

The suggested prescriptions will be presented after the video conversation, and you may choose the ones you want from that list. You were given acetaminophen even though Panadol was already in your house. You may save money and storage space by simply selecting it from the list and taking it out of your medicine cabinet.

The prescription will be delivered right to your door when you make a payment (which we’ll go over in more depth later); you’ll need to use your IC to prove your identity, so don’t be concerned about unintentionally becoming a drug runner. You’ll also get a notification when your driver is coming. We noticed that the driver always came on time.

But before your meds start working, it will probably take a while—at least a few hours. After finishing our appointment at noon and selecting the earliest delivery window (3 pm-5 pm), our care box was delivered at 3:30. Not the finest, but still rather rapid if you need medicine right away.
